Backbeat is a passion project - we want more people to hear music and artists that defined our popular culture many years ago but are now on the verge of being forgotten - oh, and we like to entertain people too.

To that end we make Backbeat available for free to any radio station in the world that wants to broadcast it either over-the-air or on-line. Shows are distributed in mp3 format, bitrate of 320 kbps in stereo*. The show itself has no commercials but you can insert your own commercials/promos/PSAs or run it as is.

We offer two options:

56 minutes in three files so you can insert commercials or PSAs at will. 

58 minutes in one file, no breaks, with filler instrumental music after the 56 minute mark

We distribute through Dropbox, or can send it directly to you using WeTransfer. The 58-minute version is also avilable to members of NCRA in Canada through !earshotDistro or to community stations anywhere through the A-Infos Radio project site, https://www.radio4all.net/ based in California.

We are happy to provide custom promos, liners, or station IDs and will promote your station on this web site and through social media posts.
